Position Overview:
As a Lead Counselor, you will provide leadership for other counselors. You will manage an individual caseload, participate in various facility committees, and carry out other management-related duties as specified by the Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Director. You will also assist in problem-solving, conflict resolution, readiness for state, CARF visits, and other areas assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete patient documentation in compliance with standards.
Provide orientation to new patients.
Assess and place patients according to treatment phases.
Counsel patients in crisis or noncompliance.
Refer patients to community resources.
Review treatment plans and participate in case reviews.
Supervise counselor documentation and assist in staff development.
Participate in inspections, staff meetings, and training.
Monitor clinical records for compliance.
Perform patient intakes and develop treatment plans.
Guide counselors with complex cases.
Maintain accurate case files.
Oversee case assignments and discharges.
Attend required meetings and trainings.
Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range:
$28/hour to $32/hour
Qualifications:
Certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor or licensed/license-eligible with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or Psychology.
Must meet supervision requirements if license-eligible.
Proof of licensure or certification required upon employment.
Strong skills in treatment planning, communication, and time management.
Proficiency with Microsoft programs.
Preferred:
Demonstrated leadership and advanced clinical skills.
