Thelma McMillen Job Description for Adult  and Teen Intensive Outpatient Substance Program
The Thelma McMillen Center Recovery
at Torrance Memorial Medical Center/an affiliate of Cedars Sinai is hiring full time licensed therapists (AMFTs, ACSWs, APCC) or certified addiction counselors to perform duties in our Adult and Teen Intensive Outpatient Recovery Treatment Center.
Must be comfortable working with adult and teen patients and their families. Must have had: at least two years of prior experience and have knowledge of substance abuse treatment interventions including relapse prevention, stress management and other behavioral techniques, familiarity with 12 Step programs, and two years clear of any personal substance use disorder.
You must be able to: conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, manage client care including facilitation of individual, group and family counseling, co-dependent support group, chart maintenance and conduct utilization reviews with insurance companies. This is an opportunity to join the premier treatment program in the South Bay.  
Salary dependent on experience, education and licensure. Benefits include health and dental insurance, 401 K, paid holidays and PTO.
